This is a second, separate list from the free waitlist. $1 holds the spot, full refund anytime, and you get to vote on which color department opens first. Stripe checkout, not email-only. If we never open a department you care about, you can refund with one email.
The $1 is a real Stripe charge on a real card. It is not a pre-order, it is not a deposit on flowers, it is a hold-fee that funds the supplier-research work to open the first department. We are tracking this cohort separately from the free waitlist to see which converts better — the free list or the paid hold.
What $1 actually buys
- A founding-member spot in the launch cohort — first access to the first color department that opens.
- A vote on which color department opens first. The votes are public on the launch page.
- A private launch discount, deeper than the free-waitlist discount.
- An email before the free waitlist gets theirs, when the launch date is set.
